A/B Testing IronSource Mediation vs. Nefta
At the moment Nefta Network can not be included in header bidding mode into IronSource SDK, which would be the optimal way to ensure you're always showing the highest-valued ads.
We believe that Nefta Ads with no tracking, first-party data approach can provide the most uplift in the segment that should not be tracked. So the best way to include the Nefta network in your mediation is for the non-trackable segment, for which the traditional ad recommendation systems can not provide tailored ads, since they do not have cross-tracked data.
This page will guide you through the process of setting up the A/B test in your LevelPlay mediation so you will be able to measure the benefits yourself.
Create segment
In the Segments section for iOS click on New Segment:
Assign a meaningful name, for example, "IDFA opt-out" and configure IDFA is False condition:
Create a mediation test
In the Mediation section for iOS click on the Start test button:
Assign a meaningful name, select the percentage of the player base for each group, and click on Start Test.
Now we have control group A and test group B with the same configuration for rewarded-video placement for iOS platform.
Now let us configure test group B to serve Nefta ads for the opted-out segment. Click on test toggle button to switch to group B and click on Add Group:
Assign a meaningful name, choose the IDFA opt-out segment you've created in the first step, and disable all ad networks except Nefta.
If you want to extend the ab test to other placements, you have to click on them and then click on Add to test and Confirm the choice:
With this the A/B configuration is complete.
Evaluating results
In the A/B section you can then see the performance comparison for each group.
